Purchasing your Sonnox plugin from a Dealer/Reseller
If you have purchased your new plug-in from one of our dealers e.g. Plugin Boutique, they will provide you with a 12-digit activation key, which will need to be entered at www.sonnox.com/register to begin the registration process.
Your activation key will be provided to you in this format:
ABCD-EFGH-IJKL
- Once received, please visit https://www.sonnox.com/register,
- insert your Activation Key where prompted
- Complete the registration form provided, ensuring that all information is entered carefully.
- Once registered, you will receive your order confirmation email to your chosen address with a link to deposit your licence and download your software.
Sonnox Order Confirmation Email - Licence deposit and installer downloads
An iLok account is required to use all Sonnox plug-ins. If you haven't got an iLok User ID, you can create a free account on the iLok website.
- Your Sonnox order confirmation email will contain a download link which you will take you to the iLok licence deposit window. The link will show in the same format as the example below -
- On the licence deposit screen, confirm your iLok account User ID and click Deposit to continue.
- Please be aware that we are not responsible for incorrect licence deposits. So please take care when entering your account ID and email address.
- Your licence will then be deposited into your chosen iLok account. If for any reason the wrong iLok account is entered, please see our helpdesk article - I’ve deposited my licence into the wrong iLok account, how do I get this licence back?
- After depositing your licence, you'll be re-directed to the installers page. Select your operating system (Windows or Mac) and download the installer for your new plug-ins.

I've just created a user account on the new Sonnox website, but I cannot see my purchase history?
- Our new account system is not set up for dealer purchases yet. Please continue to use the previous mySonnox system until we have completed the transition to the new szystem,.
I've just bought my plugin, but it says I have no licences when I try to log in to mySonnox??
- Our mySonnox portal is linked to the iLok servers, and so any new licences will not show until they are deposited into a user's iLok account using the download link in the Sonnox order confirmation email.
- Please also ensure that you are entering the correct iLok account information.
Why did I not receive my Sonnox order confirmation email?
- This can happen for a number of reasons, please look in your junk/spam folders, and check to see if your inbox is at full capacity.
- Please also take care when entering your email address upon registration. Mispelt email addresses can only be corrected by Sonnox support, who are only available within UK office hours.
Is my activation key also my iLok authorisation key?
- No, your activation key is solely for use on the Sonnox website to register your licence. This cannot be used as an iLok authorisation key. Our licences do not require a code to authorise via iLok, and are deposited directly into a user's iLok account for activation within the iLok Licence Manager application.
I bought my licence from a Third Party, but I have had technical problems, or no longer wish to keep my licence. How do I get a refund?
- We cannot issue or influence refunds on purchased made through Third Party resellers. please refer to your reseller's refund policy, as your contract is with them.
