Mac

  1. Navigate to
    • Pro Tools 10: Macintosh HD/Users/<your username>/Library/Preferences/DAE Prefs
    • Pro Tools 11 and above: Macintosh HD/Users/<your username>/Library/Preferences/Avid/Pro Tools
  2. Delete the files
    • Pro Tools 10: Installed plug-ins
    • Pro Tools 11 and above: InstalledAAXPlugIns
  3. Re-open Pro Tools


How to navigate to the user Library folder

  • In the Finder Select the Go menu from the main menubar
  • Hold the Alt key and select the new Library item which appears




Windows

  1. Navigate to
    • Pro Tools 10: Program Files (x86)\Avid\Pro Tools\DAE\DAE Prefs
    • Pro Tools 11 and above: \Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Avid\Pro Tools
  2. Delete the file
    • Pro Tools 10: Installed plug-ins
    • Pro Tools 11 and above: InstalledAAXPlugins
  3. Re-open Pro Tools
