After its successful launch in Native formats in July, the Oxford Dynamic EQ was officially released for the Universal Audio hardware accelerated platform on 10th August 2017! With the Oxford Dynamic EQ being the first of its kind on the platform, we're really excited to offer our UAD customers the same power and flexibility that's already shaping pro mixes around the world.


What's the difference between the Native and UAD versions?

While we try to keep the features of our plug-ins as consistent as possible across all the different platforms for which we cater, sometimes compromises have to be made to enable compatibility. If you've enjoyed using the Oxford Dynamic EQ for Native and are considering purchasing it for UAD, it's important to note that the UAD version of the Oxford Dynamic EQ does not include external sidechain support. If this is a feature that would be important to your workflow, we recommend purchasing the Native version. We hope to add support for this feature in the future!


How much does the Oxford Dynamic EQ for UAD cost and where can I buy it?

The Oxford Dynamic EQ is available now from the Universal Audio website for £189 GBP. This is a little cheaper than the Native version, which retails for £200 GBP. This is due to the differences in feature set, as detailed above. As with all of our plug-ins on the UAD platform, the Oxford Dynamic EQ for UAD is exclusively distributed by Universal Audio, and it is not available to demo, purchase or upgrade through the Sonnox webstore or through Sonnox dealers worldwide. Can I swap my Native Dynamic EQ for the UAD version?

Normally we do not support cross-grades between Native and the UAD platform, as they are distributed entirely independently. However, if you've purchased the Native Oxford Dynamic EQ before the 10th August 2017 and would rather have the UAD version now that it has been released, please submit a support ticket and we will arrange a refund.
